    Nature and Outdoor Activities:        
     
Hiking: Enjoy our own woodland trails; or travel minutes to an Audubon preserve and scenic mountain views. Kancamagus Highway, scenic byways, and 780,000+ acre White Mountain National Forest are only a 10 minute drive.

Biking: Tour quiet country roads or mountain bike miles of area trails. Route maps are provided upon request.

Horseback Riding: Riding stables nearby offering trail rides throughout the year.


Skiing and Snowshoeing: Cross country skiing and snowshoeing available from our door or at nearby touring Centers - King Pine is about 15 minutes away and Jackson Ski Touring about 40 minutes. Downhill skiing is available at Shawnee Peak which offers night skiing, and King Pine which also offers ice skating, snowboarding, and tubing.

Canoeing: only 10 minute drive to Saco River. Local outfitters provide canoe and kayak rentals if needed.

Swimming and Fishing: Try your luck in our brook or in nearby lakes. Saco River is a 10 minute drive or 50 minute drive to ocean beaches.

Stargazing, Bird Watching and Wildlife Viewing: Our quiet country setting lends itself to enjoying wildlife on the grounds, golden eagles nesting nearby and spectacular night skies.     Secure indoor parking available at the Farm for guests with motorcycles and snow machines.  
By Car or Motorcycle: Gorgeous scenic drives in Maine and New Hampshire for lake, ocean or mountain views; high roads; low roads; and back roads too! Experience traditional New England villages complete with covered bridges and white-steeple churches. Mapped tours provided on request. Motorcyclists rest comfortably at night knowing their bike is securely stored in our garage.

Snowmobiling: Extensive state-maintained snowmobile trails in Maine and New Hampshire can be accessed from our property.
