- Coming from the south on Rt. 16 in Conway, NH:
- Take right onto Rt. 153 South and proceed for five miles until you come to Brownfield Rd. on your left. Just before a lake) Take that left and proceed another five miles (crossing border into Maine) at which point you will be going down steep hill. Make a sharp right at bottom of hill onto the Porter Rd.
Those staying at the Brookside Cabin: take second driveway on left. Those going to Farmhouse or Tompeca Cottage proceed to first left onto Sam Brown Hill Rd. We are on that corner, first buildings on the left.
From Rt. 302 in Fryeburg:- Continue thru Fryeburg on Rt. 302 heading west. About 2 miles outside of Fryeburg there will be a Maine Information Center on the left (just before NH border). Make the left IMMEDIATELY after the info booth -- the Haley Town Rd -- and proceed about five miles to the first stop sign. Proceed straight thru stop sign for about another mile and make your first right onto the Sam Brown Hill Rd. (Sign may or may not be up) Proceed a mile and a half. We are on the right - green Cape Cod at end of long meadow with red roofed barn behind. (If you come to another stop sign, back up about 50 yards.)
Coming from Portland on Rt. 5/113 in Brownfield:- Make a left onto Rt. 160 South. Proceed thru Brownfield village and leave Rt. 160 -- bearing right -- when it makes a sharp left at a small white church. Proceed about a half mile and make second left onto the Merrill Corner Rd. (Extreme caution advised making that left since it is on a sharp curve.) Proceed to next stop sign, and make a left onto the Old County Rd. Proceed about half mile to first right - the Sam Brown Hill Rd. (Sign may or may not be up) We ar 1.5 miles on right -- Green Cape Cod with red roofed barn behind us. (If you come to another stop sign, back up about 50 yards.)
